Kyiv International Airport cancels some flights due to bad weather

Igor Sikorsky Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) has canceled several flights because of overnight bad weather.

This is reported by TV Channel 112.

“The reason for cancellation was overnight bad weather. Information on when the passengers of canceled flights can depart from Kyiv is not available yet,” reads the report.

Overnight into August 16, strong thunderstorms with hail passed through the city of Kyiv. As a result, some of the streets were flooded and closed for traffic.

Weather forecasters warn that another thunderstorm is expected in Kyiv today, August 16.
