Ukraine’s Emergency Service: 118 towns and villages still without electricity due to bad weather

As of Wednesday morning, 118 populated areas in four regions of Ukraine remained without electricity supply because of bad weather conditions.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

“Adverse weather conditions (hail, thunderstorm, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 118 populated areas in four regions: Lviv region – 59 populated areas, Ternopil region – 28, Volyn region – 22 and Chernivtsi region – 9,” reads the report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo were involved to carry out needed repair works to resume electricity supply.
