Bad weather leaves almost 300 towns and villages in Ukraine without electricity

Adverse weather conditions (hail, thunderstorm, wind gusts) have left 295 populated areas in four regions of Ukraine without electricity.
This was reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.
”Overnight into Friday, bad weather conditions caused blackouts in 295 populated areas in four regions, in particular: 173 populated areas – in Kyiv region, 72 populated areas – in Vinnytsia region, 31 populated areas – in Zhytomy region and 19 populated areas – in Cherkasy region,” reads the report.
The State Emergency Service added that in Holosiivsky district of Kyiv, a person was killed due to tree fall.
