Poroshenko demands assistance to Ukrainians injured in road accident in Belarus
Spokesperson for the Consular Service Department of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry Vasyl Kyrylych said this in a comment to Ukrinform.
"At the instructions of the Ukrainian president, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is taking measures to help Ukrainians injured in a road accident in Belarus. The best Belarusian specialists are involved in providing assistance to the victims," Kyrylych said.
At the same time, the president expressed his condolences to young footballers and their families who suffered in this accident in Belarus.
"Sincere condolences to the young footballers of the Ukrainian national team and their families who suffered as a result of an accident in Belarus," Poroshenko wrote on Twitter.
The Ukrainian youth football team got in a road accident in Belarus on the Kamenets-Sheresheovo-Svisloch highway. According to the Belarusian Health Ministry, one child was killed and six were seriously injured.
Later, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed reports of six people injured in this accident.
