Avalanche risk still remains in Ukraine’s Carpathian region

On March 3-4, a considerable snow and avalanche danger is expected in Lviv, Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions of Ukraine.

The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.

“On March 3-4, a considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in the Carpathian mountains (Lviv, Zakarpattia and Ivano-Frankivsk regions) due to snowfalls,” the report reads.
