Ukraine’s Emergency Service warns of avalanche risk in Carpathian region

The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has issued warnings for mountainous areas in Ivano-Frankivsk region, where a considerable avalanche danger is expected on February 24-25.
The State Emergency Service reported this with reference to the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center's forecasts.
“On February 24-25, a considerable (III) level of avalanche risk is expected in the Carpathian mountains due to a sharp drop in air temperature,” the report reads.
