Ukraine’s Emergency Service: 152 towns and villages left without electricity due to bad weather

Severe weather conditions left 152 populated areas in five Ukrainian regions without power.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"As of February 9, bad weather conditions (snow, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 152 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine, particularly: 89 populated areas - in Chernivtsi region, 32 – in Ivano-Frankivsk, 25 – in Ternopil, 3 – in Chervihiv and 3 – in Sumy regions,” the report reads.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo are involved into the restoration of electricity supply.
