Ukraine’s Emergency Service: 43 towns and villages left without electricity due to bad weather

Severe weather conditions left 43 populated areas in six Ukrainian regions without power.

This is reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"As of January 31, bad weather conditions (rain, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 43 populated areas in six regions of Ukraine, particularly: 15 populated areas - in Zhytomyr region, 7 – in Cherkasy region, 7 – in Sumy, 6 – in Kyiv, 5 – in Odesa and 3 – in Chervihiv regions,” the report reads.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo are involved into the restoration of electricity supply.
