Bad weather causes blackouts in 537 towns and villages 14 regions

Bad weather conditions have left 537 populated areas without electricity in 14 regions in Ukraine on December 10-11, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.

“On December 10-11, bad weather conditions (wet snow, wind gusts) caused blackouts in 537 populated areas in 14 regions: Chernihiv region – 150 populated areas, Kyiv region – 114 populated areas, Lviv region – 54 populated areas, Poltava region – 52 populated areas, Kirovohrad region – 4, Dnipropetrovsk region – 24, Odesa region – 24, Zaporizhzhia region - 19, Chernihiv region – 19, Sumy region – 14, Kherson region – 10, Mykolaiv region – 7, Zakarpattia region – 6, and Donetsk region 3,” reads a report.

Emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
