Three Ukrainian servicemen have been killed in the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) zone in Donbas due to careless handling of the stove equipment in a military unit, the press center of the ATO headquarters has reported on Facebook.
"The incident occurred in a military unit that is carrying out combat tasks in the Donetsk sector in the area of the anti-terrorist operation. Three servicemen were killed on November 19. According to preliminary information, the incident occurred as a result of careless handling of the stove equipment," the statement reads.
According to the report, the causes and details of the tragic incident are being clarified. An operational group of the military service of law and order and representatives of the military prosecutor's office are working at the scene.
Criminal proceedings were instituted over the incident. The investigation continues.
