Emergency Service: 3,056 explosive devices disposed near Kalynivka

“No fire or explosions were recorded in the territory of the warehouse near the town of Kalynivka, Vinnytsia region on October 31.The explosive ordnance disposal teams of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine (48 people and 18 units of equipment) continue cleaning the territory from explosive devices surrounding the depot. The territory of 20,152 hectares has been already cleared, 3,056 explosive devices have been detected and disposed,” the press service of the State Emergency Service reports.

As earlier reported, the fire broke out at the ammunition storage in Kalynivka in Vinnytsia region on September 26. Almost 30,000 local citizens were evacuated from the dangerous area. Two people were injured in the incident. Explosions ceased on September 28.
