Emergency Service: 25 people saved, 904 fires distinguished during last week

The units of the State Emergency Service (SES) of Ukraine saved 25 people and distinguished 904 fires during the last week, from October 9 to October15, the SES press service reported.
“During the last week, the SES units responded to 1,310 accidents. As a result of these interventions, 90 persons were saved, 904 fires were extinguished. A total of 25 persons were rescued from fire, and fire was prevented from spreading to 372 buildings and 45 units of equipment. At the same time, 27 persons died from fires. According to the latest data, estimated losses from fire make up about UAH 3.369 million,” reads the report.
During the last week, the SES pyrotechnic units detected and disposed 1,729 explosive devices from the past wars.
Also, the SES reported that 8 persons died on water during the recent week.
