No Ukrainians among victims of Las Vegas shooting - embassy

Ukrainians have not been killed or injured as a result of a deadly shooting in Las Vegas, Ukraine's Embassy in the United States has reported on Facebook.

"Ukraine's Embassy in the United States and Ukraine's Consulate General in San Francisco are in contact with the city's law enforcement agencies city and check information on whether there are Ukrainians among those killed and wounded. Preliminarily there are no citizens among those dead or injured. We will provide additional information about the course of events," reads the report. 

Late on Sunday, October 1, Stephen Paddock, 64, opened fire on concert-goers from the vantage point of a 32nd-floor hotel room in Las Vegas. According to the latest reports, at least 59 people were killed and a further 527 were injured.
