"As for the situation in Kalynivka, the ammunition continues to smolder in the warehouses, the explosions have almost stopped. In general, the situation is under control: air reconnaissance is underway for further use of aircrafts to localize fires, the demining of a 5-km zone has started, people return to distant villages," the head of the government noted.
As reported, a fire broke out at ammunition depots in Kalynivka on September 26, which subsequently led to artillery shells exploding. About 30,000 people were evacuated from the zone of possible danger.
