This was reported by spokesperson of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Bohdan Senyk on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels.
"The information about the sabotage voiced by journalists is not ruled out. Different versions are considered, in such cases none of them should be rejected," he said.
He also added that the warehouse was a restricted access facility, so strangers were not able to enter it.
The spokesperson notes that a true cause of the fire will be named after the work of law enforcement specialists and experts who are currently working in the military depot.
The depots occupy 600 ha – 1,000 ha. It is the country's second largest stock of Ukraine's armed forces after Balakliya of Kharkiv region.
As reported, Head of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Viktor Muzhenko and Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Hrytsak arrived at the scene.
