About 100 Ukrainian towns and villages left without electricity

Adverse weather conditions left 93 populated areas without electricity in five regions in Ukraine on August 6, the State Emergency Service reports.

“On August 6, bad weather conditions (rain, thunderstorm, gusts) caused blackouts in 93 populated areas, namely: 39 populated areas – in Mykolaiv region, 36 – in Odesa region, 11 – in Vinnytsia region, 4 – in Kyiv region, and 3 – in Kirovohrad region. Emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply,” reads a report.
