Bad weather left 109 towns and villages in five regions of Ukraine without electricity

In Ukraine, adverse weather conditions left 109 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine without electricity.
This has been reported by the press service of the State Emergency Service.
"Overnight into Friday, bad weather conditions (rain, squally wind) caused blackouts in 109 populated areas in five regions of Ukraine," the report reads.
In particular, 51 populated areas in Kyiv region, 22 - in Dnipropetrovsk region, 20 - in Cherkasy region, 9 - in Kirovohrad and 7 - in Sumy regions were left without electricity supply.
Thirty-eight emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
