Flu epidemic threshold exceeded in Vinnytsia region

In Vinnytsia region, epidemic threshold for flu and respiratory infection has been exceeded by 18.2%, the information and public communication department at Vinnytsia Regional State Administration reports.
“The sickness rate across the region was above the epidemic threshold by 18.2%,” reads a report.
In general, in Vinnytsia region 14,880 people with acute respiratory infections consulted doctors, including 8,575 (57.6%) children. A total of 1,066 people were hospitalized, including 730 children.
No deaths from flu have been recorded.
