Ukraine's Foreign Ministry warns Ukrainians about the possibility of terrorist attacks in Europe during the Christmas holidays and recommends refraining from visiting crowded places.

This has been informed by the Department of Consular Service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on Facebook.

"According to the US State Department, there is a high probability that the terrorist groups as ISIS, Al-Qaeda and their supporters continue to plan terrorist attacks in Europe. European authorities have warned of possible attacks during mass events. In this regard, we strongly recommend the citizens of Ukraine during the New Year and Christmas trips to refrain from visiting crowded places," reads a statement.

The Foreign Ministry also asks to find out in advance contact details of Ukraine’s embassies and consulates in a country which you plan to visit.
