Bad weather leaves 988 Ukrainian towns and villages without electricity

Adverse weather conditions have left 988 populated areas in 13 regions of Ukraine without electricity, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine reports.
“On November 12-14, 2016, bad weather conditions (snowstorm, wet snow, gusts of wind, and icy condition of roads) caused blackouts in 988 populated areas in 13 regions,” reads a report.
A total of 209 emergency teams of Oblenergo have started to conduct needed repairs to resume electricity supply.
