Mykolayiv region authorities set up quarantine road checkpoints amid outbreak of African swine fever

Four quarantine veterinary and police checkpoints in connection with the outbreak of African swine fever in the town of Nova Odesa, the Mykolaiv region, starting from August 1, the automobile road service has told Ukrinform.

"Quarantine is enforced in the town of Nova Odesa because of the outbreak of African swine fever in Nova Odesa effective July 28, 2016. In order to contain the disease four quarantine veterinary and police stations were deployed starting from August 1 on public roads," the report has said.
