State Border Service officials identify Ukraine pilot who crashed in Poland

The State Border Service of Ukraine has identified a dead Ukrainian pilot who crashed in Poland, it was the 36-year-old resident of the Lviv region, the State Border Service reports.

"In the ensuing exchange of information with the Polish counterparts and a number of operational activities in Ukraine the State Border Guard Service has succeeded in a short time to establish the identity of the dead pilot of a hang-glider who fatally crashed in Poland," the report noted.

The State Border Service of Ukraine stated that they discovered a place of the aircraft take-off at an abandoned airfield in the Lviv region. The persons related to the incident are being searched for.
