According to the International Committee of the Red Cross, the number of people gone missing as a result of the conflict in Donbas exceeds one thousand.

This was stated by Head of the ICRC mission to Ukraine Alain Aeschlimann at the press conference on Thursday, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"No one has the data about the number of people gone missing during the conflict. They are many such people, and I can say that there are more than one thousand such people," he stressed.

The organization's budget for the activities in Ukraine this year is USD 60 million, Aeschlimann said.
