CEC: Voter turnout in second round of mayoral elections is 24%

Voter turnout in Ukraine’s second round of mayoral elections was 24%, according to data provided by the Central Election Commission as of 20:00 on November 15, the Commission’s press service reports.

"According to all territorial election commissions, which prepared and conducted the repeat voting in mayoral elections, the turnout was 24%," reads the report.

However, the CEC reminded that this information is not official. The Commission explained that according to the CEC resolution as of October 20, 2020, No. 404, the Commission should receive the mentioned data from the bodies of maintenance of the State Register of Voters, which in turn receive the data from territorial election commissions through any means of communication, in particular by telephone or e-mail.

As Ukrinform reported, the second round of mayoral elections was held in Lutsk, Kramatorsk, Ukrainka, Odesa, Sumy, Kherson and Kamianets-Podilskyi on Sunday, November 15.
