President, First Lady vote in local elections

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska have arrived at the polling station to vote in the local elections.
As an Ukrinform correspondent reports, the presidential couple traditionally votes in the College of Marine and River Fleet in Kyiv.
It’s important to elect trustworthy candidates, President Zelensky told reporters.
"As for the ratings, I want to tell you once again: we will see all the numbers. For me, as for any Ukrainian, it’s important, first of all, that we elect the people we trust. These are local elections. It’s important what these people can do on the ground," the President stressed.
October 25, Ukrainians elect members of local councils, chairpersons of villages, mayors of towns and cities. Voting at polling stations lasts from 08:00 till 20:00.
