NBU intends to transfer almost UAH 43 bln to state budget

The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) intends to transfer to the state budget UAH 42.7 billion of 2019 profit, which is UAH 2 billion more than envisaged in the state budget for 2020.
First Deputy NBU Governor Kateryna Rozhkova said this at a briefing on March 27, an Ukrinform correspondent reported.
"Yesterday, we already approved the National Bank's financial report and submitted it for approval to the NBU Council. We expect that we will transfer UAH 42.7 billion to the budget, which is UAH 2 billion more than envisaged in the budget for 2020," Rozhkova said.
As Ukrinform reported, the NBU in 2019 transferred to the budget about UAH 65 billion of 2018 profit.
