CEC registers 281 official observers in parliamentary elections

Ukraine's Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered 281 official observers at the July 21 elections to the Verkhovna Rada, according to a statement posted on the CEC website.

"As of June 27, the Commission registered 281 official observers at the early elections of people's deputies of Ukraine on July 21, 2019, in particular, five official observers from a foreign state and 276 official observers from eight international organizations," the report reads.

The CEC also introduced changes to the composition of district election commissions for snap elections on July 21, 2019, formed in accordance with CEC resolution No. 919 of May 31, 2019.

The CEC registered authorized representatives of the Agrarian Party of Ukraine, the Svoboda All-Ukrainian Association, the Opposition Platform - For Life party and the Civil Position party in single-member constituencies during early elections of people's deputies of Ukraine.
