More than 700 Ukrainians change place of voting in parliamentary elections

A total of 727 voters have already temporarily changed their place of voting in snap parliamentary elections scheduled for July 21, 2019.

According to the data published on the website of the State Register of Voters, 727 voters changed their place of voting as of May 29, 2019.

Most of them applied for voting in Kyiv (198) and Kyiv region (82).

As noted, 12 people from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea temporarily changed the place of voting.

Another 24 voters temporarily changed the place of voting by electing a polling station at the overseas electoral district.

As reported, on May 20, President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the dissolution of the Parliament during his inaugural speech.

On May 21, 2019, he signed a decree on the early termination of powers of the Verkhovna Rada of the eighth convocation and set snap parliamentary election for July 21, 2019.

On May 24, an electoral campaign kicked off in Ukraine.

The same day, the process of temporary change of place of voting began. It will last until July 15 inclusive.
