G7 states ready to cooperate with President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky

Ambassadors of the Group of Seven (G7) in Ukraine congratulated Volodymyr Zelensky on winning Ukraine's presidential election and expressed hope for close cooperation.
The G7 Ambassadors’ Support Group in Ukraine reported this on its Twitter page.
"G7 Ambassadors congratulate President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky. We wish him success and look forward to working closely with him and his administration," the statement says.
The G7 Ambassadors praised the work of the Central Election Commission and law enforcement agencies in creating legal and safe conditions that allowed Ukrainian citizens to exercise their democratic rights in a credible electoral process.
The diplomats also recognized the progress that Ukraine has made under President Poroshenko’s leadership since 2014.
"We reaffirm our commitment to support the path chosen by Ukraine and further reform," the ambassadors summed up.
