OPORA's parallel vote count: Zelensky gets 30.1%, Poroshenko has 15.7%

Volodymyr Zelensky holds the lead in the first round of Ukraine's presidential election with 30.1% of the vote, whereas Petro Poroshenko has 15.7% and Yulia Tymoshenko 13.3%, according to the results of a parallel vote count conducted by the OPORA civil network.

The results of the parallel vote count were disclosed at a press conference on Monday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

Behind the top three are Yuriy Boiko - 11.5%, Anatoliy Hrytsenko - 6.8%, Ihor Smeshko - 5.9%, Oleh Liashko - 5.5%, and Oleksandr Vilkul – 4.1%.

The OPORA civil network on March 31 carried out a parallel vote count on the basis of a sample representative for the whole Ukraine, based on 1,296 reports from 1,304 specially trained and officially registered observers.
