CEC creates 101 polling station commissions abroad

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Ukraine has established 101 polling station commissions abroad for the upcoming presidential elections in Ukraine scheduled for March 31, 2019.

The CEC stated this in a press release available to Ukrinform.

“The Commission formed 101 district election commissions in foreign election districts of the foreign constituency for the next election of the President of Ukraine scheduled for March 31, 2019," the statement said.

As reported, the presidential election campaign started on December 31, 2018. On February 8, the CEC completed the process of registration for the post of head of state in Ukraine's presidential election. A total of 44 presidential candidates were registered.

The CEC created 199 district election commissions in the regions of Ukraine.
