CEC registered 28 observers abroad for presidential elections

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has registered five official observers from the All-Ukrainian public organization Advanced Legal Initiatives to monitor the election process abroad during the next Ukrainian presidential elections scheduled for March 31.

The Commission has stated this in a press available to Ukrinform.

"The Commission has registered five official observers in the overseas electoral district from the All-Ukrainian public organization Advanced Legal Initiatives for the next Ukrainian presidential elections scheduled for March 31, 2019," the document says.

Thus, as of March 4, a total of 28 official observers from two public organizations were registered to monitor the election process abroad.

 As reported, the presidential election campaign started on December 31, 2018. On February 8, the CEC completed the process of registration for the post of head of state in Ukraine's presidential election. A total of 44 presidential candidates were registered.
