Ukraine’s Central Election Commission forms 199 constituency election commissions

The Central Election Commission of Ukraine formed 199 constituency election commissions for the presidential election, which will be held on March 31.

The decision was approved at the CEC’s meeting on Monday, the press service of the Central Election Commission reports.

"The CEC formed 199 constituency election commissions for the election of the President of Ukraine at the scheduled presidential election on March 31, 2019. During the consideration of this issue, the number of members of all constituency election commissions was announced and the heads, deputy heads and secretaries of the constituency election commissions were named," the statement reads.

As reported, the electoral campaign of the scheduled presidential election, which will be held on March 31, 2019, began in Ukraine on December 31, 2018.

The CEC completed the registration of candidates on February 8. A total of 44 candidates were registered.
