Cabinet of Ministers increases authorized capital of Energy Efficiency Fund by ₴629.6 million
According to Ukrinform, this was announced on Telegram by Taras Melnychuk, permanent representative of the Cabinet of Ministers in the Verkhovna Rada.
“The authorized capital of the State Institution Energy Efficiency Fund has been increased by ₴629,652,000 using funds allocated under the Law of Ukraine ‘On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2026,’” the deputy wrote.
In addition, the government added provisions to the institution’s charter regarding the use of renewable energy sources as an integral part of energy efficiency and the fulfillment of obligations under Ukraine’s international treaties within the fund’s jurisdiction.
As reported, in 2025, the Energy Efficiency Fund implemented approximately 1,500 projects under three programs supported by the European Union.
