Ukrinform
Information has been received about Russia preparing new strikes on Ukraine's energy infrastructure. All services have been instructed to prepare as thoroughly as possible for the upcoming challenges.

First Deputy Prime Minister and Energy Minister Denys Shmyhal reported this on Facebook following a meeting of the Energy Headquarters, Ukrinform informs.

"Thanks to the work of repair crews and rising temperatures, we are seeing a trend toward improvement in the electricity supply situation. At the same time, we have information about the enemy preparing new strikes on the energy sector. Therefore, the task for all services is not only rapid restoration but also maximum readiness for the next challenges," he said.

He noted that efforts to eliminate the consequences of Russian attacks are ongoing around the clock. The greatest challenges at present are in Odesa and in frontline regions.

In Kyiv, more than 200 crews are working to restore heat and electricity supply.

Cooperation with partners on equipment deliveries is also continuing on a daily basis. According to Shmyhal, agreements have been reached to attract EUR 600 million to strengthen Ukraine's energy resilience following a visit by the Energy Ministry team to France.

A group of Ukrainian engineers and technical specialists has already departed for Europe to inspect six stations whose equipment can be delivered to Ukraine as quickly as possible.

As previously reported, due to the consequences of massive Russian attacks, electricity consumption is limited in most regions of Ukraine. Emergency power outages have been introduced in certain regions.
