Russian forces strike Naftogaz facility in Poltava region; damage and fire reported

Since the beginning of the year, Russian forces have attacked Naftogaz Group infrastructure more than 20 times.
According to Ukrinform, Naftogaz CEO Sergii Koretskyi reported this on Facebook.
“Russian troops once again targeted Naftogaz infrastructure, this time in Poltava region, using strike drones. The attack caused damage, and a fire is ongoing at the site,” Koretsky wrote.
He noted that since the beginning of the year, enemy forces have attacked Naftogaz infrastructure more than 20 times. Specialists from the State Emergency Service are currently working at the site.
As reported, Naftogaz infrastructure was subjected to 229 attacks in 2025 — the highest intensity of strikes compared with the previous three years.
