Ukroboronprom signs agreement with leading Saudi company

JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry will cooperate with the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS) in the defense sector.

According to Ukrinform, Ukroboronprom Director General Herman Smetanin announced this on Telegram.

“JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry and the National Company for Mechanical Systems (NCMS) signed a cooperation agreement on the sidelines of the World Defense Show. The signing took place with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and with the direct participation of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Anatolii Petrenko,” the statement reads.

Smetanin emphasized that this cooperation opens new opportunities for integrating Ukraine’s defense industry into the Middle East defense ecosystem and will strengthen Ukraine’s international partnerships.

As reported, the team of JSC Ukrainian Defense Industry began its work at the international defense exhibition World Defense Show 2026 in Riyadh. A meeting was held with the head of Saudi Arabia’s General Authority for Defense Development (GAAD).
