Ukrinform
The International Monetary Fund mission has begun work in Ukraine today, together with government representatives, on launching a new Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.

Ukrinform was informed about this by the IMF Resident Representative Office in Ukraine.

Prishila Tofano, the IMF Resident Representative in Ukraine, stated in Kyiv that the IMF mission, led by Gavin Gray, began discussions with Ukrainian authorities on policies related to their request for a new Extended Fund Facility (EFF) program.

“Discussions will focus on the authorities' economic policy objectives, with an emphasis on both fiscal and monetary policies to ensure stability amid continued extremely high uncertainty, and structural measures aimed at strengthening governance, combating corruption, and supporting economic growth,” Toffano said.
