Hourly power cuts canceled throughout Ukraine — Ukrenergo
According to Ukrinform, this was reported by NPC Ukrenergo on Facebook.
“At present, scheduled hourly power outages have been canceled throughout the entire territory of Ukraine. However, there remains a possibility that outages may return during the day. Please follow the announcements on the official pages of your regional energy companies. In certain regions, power limitation schedules for industrial users will remain in effect until 19:00,” the statement reads.
It is noted that due to the massive Russian attack overnight, a significant number of customers remain without power in several regions — in particular, in Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions. Emergency repair and restoration work began in all affected regions as soon as the security situation allowed.
Electricity consumption as of 6:00 a.m. Thursday corresponds to the level of the previous day. “The need for economical electricity use remains today. Please limit the use of high-power electrical appliances between 14:00 and 22:00,” Ukrenergo urged.
As reported, Russian forces carried out a massive attack on Ukraine’s power system overnight on October 30. Thermal power plants in several regions came under strike.
