Emergency power outages implemented in nine regions of Ukraine
The Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
According to the ministry’s updated information, due to the difficult situation in the power system caused by recent Russian attacks, emergency shutdowns have been introduced in those regions.
In Zaporizhzhia region, emergency outages currently affect only industrial consumers.
In Chernihiv region, the local distribution system operator has implemented three rounds of scheduled hourly outages.
Efforts are ongoing to eliminate the consequences of Russian strikes on energy facilities across all affected regions.
As Ukrinform previously reported, as of the morning of October 14, electricity consumption across Ukraine remained at the same level as the previous day, while three stages of scheduled hourly outages were in effect in Chernihiv region.
