During the DFNC3 defense forum, Ukrainian Defense Industry JSC (Ukroboronprom) signed several agreements with international partners, including Escribano, a Spanish manufacturer of combat modules.

According to Ukrinform, Herman Smetanin, the company’s Director General, reported this on Telegram.

“We are already cooperating on modernizing our armored vehicles with combat modules. Today, we formalized new agreements that outline prospects for cooperation in the field of air defense and the further development of armored technology,” the statement said.

In addition, during the forum, Ukroboronprom reached an agreement with U.S. drone manufacturer LeVanta Tech Inc., which specializes in air-sea UAVs based on the float-and-fly concept (“swim and fly”). The partners also plan to develop joint solutions to improve the speed and resilience of Ukrainian drones.

According to Smetanin, Ukraine aims to expand domestic production and organize training programs for Ukrainian defense engineers.

Ukroboronprom’s delegation also discussed potential cooperation with Romanian arms producer Romarm, including joint production of technical equipment and unmanned platforms, as well as attracting investment for shared projects.
