Power supply fully restored at Chornobyl NPP facilities, no radiation leak threat – Energy Ministry

As of 23:00 on October 1, electricity supply at the Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant facilities has been fully restored.

That is according to the Ukrainian Energy Ministry's press service, Ukrinform reports.

"Power supply to all Chornobyl Nuclear Power Plant facilities that had been cut off due to enemy shelling of infrastructure in the city of Slavutych has been fully restored," the statement said.

Radiation levels at the site remain within control limits, and there is no threat to the population.

"My gratitude to our energy workers for their swift and effective work! Your efforts ensure the safety of all Ukraine and Europe," Energy Minister Svitlana Hrynchuk said.

Electricity supply in Slavutych, Kyiv region, was disrupted after Russian forces attacked a substation with drones.
