Svyrydenko outlines Ukraine's 2026 budget priorities to World Bank official
Svyrydenko said this in a post on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
"I outlined the priorities of Ukraine's draft state budget for 2026, which are first and foremost national defense and social stability. I spoke about our approach to balancing defense needs with other expenditures, as well as addressing the budget deficit. We discussed ways the World Bank can support Ukraine in these challenging times," Svyrydenko wrote.
She added that Ukraine "continues to advance reforms in line with our international commitments, particularly strengthening anti-corruption institutions."
Svyrydenko and Bjerde agreed to maintain close contacts to deepen cooperation. The prime minister thanked the World Bank team for its steady support of Ukraine during Russia's full-scale invasion.
