Ukraine plans to launch grants for ammunition, explosives production

The Ukrainian government is planning to launch a grant program next week to support the production of ammunition and explosives.

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko announced the initiative on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

"Next week, we plan to launch grants for the production of ammunition and explosives. This is about supporting the defense industry and localizing critical manufacturing. More details will follow after the government's decision," Svyrydenko wrote.

The project is being coordinated by First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov and Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal.

Svyrydenko earlier stated that Ukraine planned to sign an agreement with the United States on drone cooperation.
