Since the launch of the maritime corridor, Ukraine has exported over 130 million tonnes of goods, including 81 million tonnes of agricultural products.

Oleksii Kuleba, Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration and Minister for Communities and Territories Development of Ukraine, said this in a post on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"More than 130 million tonnes of cargo have already been transported via Ukraine's maritime corridor. Of that, 81 million tonnes are agricultural products. Ukrainian grain and food continue to reach dozens of countries, particularly those for which sea delivery remains the only viable option, from Asia to Latin America," the post reads.

Since the maritime corridor became operational, more than 5,000 vessels have departed from the ports of the Odesa region. The transported cargo includes not only agricultural goods but also other critically important shipments such as metals, ore, fertilizers, and humanitarian aid.

The corridor continues to operate despite regular missile attacks. Since its launch, 423 port infrastructure facilities have been damaged. Thirty-two civilian vessels have been affected, 115 people injured, and there have been fatalities. Despite the risks, port operations continue. Currently, 90% of Ukraine's agricultural exports are transported by sea.

Ukrainian ports reached a record cargo turnover of 97.2 million tonnes in 2024. A total of 76.4 million tonnes have been exported to 52 countries via the Ukrainian maritime corridor.
