Brave1 Market: Ukraine launches marketplace for cutting-edge defense technologies

This was announced on Telegram by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov, according to Ukrinform.

"Military units will be able to independently select the equipment they want to use and purchase it with the funds of their respective units. The platform will function like an online store — similar to Amazon or Rozetka — but instead of regular goods, it will offer innovations," Fedorov stated.

According to him, the marketplace already features more than a thousand solutions: UAVs, ground robots, electronic warfare (EW) and signals intelligence (SIGINT) systems, components, AI-based tools, software, and munitions.

"Currently, servicemen search for manufacturers and new technologies online, through personal contacts, or through other units, which limits access to information. The marketplace will significantly simplify the interaction between developers and the military. Defenders will be able to choose the needed technology in just a few clicks, compare the specifications of different products, contact manufacturers, and sign direct contracts," Fedorov emphasized.

He added that the marketplace would help solve the problem of spreading effective technologies, as soldiers often do not know about tools already available on the market that could help them carry out their missions more effectively.

For security reasons, servicemen will authenticate themselves on the marketplace through the 'Diia' app. Particularly sensitive information will be contained in a closed catalog accessible only to verified service members through the 'Delta' system.

As reported earlier by Ukrinform, Ukrainian developers recently tested small FPV bombers at a training ground — inexpensive, resilient to electronic warfare, and multifunctional.
