Ukrainian volunteers now allowed to import drone components
That’s according to the NBU Governor, Andriy Pishnyi, who broke the news on Facebook.
"We have expanded the list of defense goods that volunteers can buy abroad. Among the new items are components for UAVs," Pyshnyi said.
He added that the regulator canceled the deadline for payments for military and dual-use goods and equipment imported by executors of government defense contracts.
"We are talking, in particular, about goods and equipment that are used to create or expand production facilities for the manufacture of defense goods," Pyshnyi noted.
At the same time, he emphasized that executors of state contracts shall be put in the electronic register.
As previously reported, Ukrainian drone manufacturers are already capable of producing up to 150,000 units per month, planning to reach the volume of 2 million units by year-end.
