Ukraine exports over 2M t of grain

In the 2023/2024 marketing year (MY) (July 1-28, 2023), Ukraine exported 2.046 million tonnes of grains and legumes.

According to Ukrinform, the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food reported this.

In the current MY Ukraine has already exported 720,000 tonnes of wheat, 255,000 tonnes of barley, 500 tonnes of rye, and 1.067 million tonnes of corn.

For comparison, in the first 29 days of 2022/2023 MY, Ukraine exported 1.405 million tonnes of grains and pulses, including 325,000 tonnes of wheat, 131,000 tonnes of barley, and 941,000 tonnes of corn. In July last year, Ukraine did not export rye.

Also, since 2023/2024 MY, Ukraine exported 12,300 tonnes of flour (against 4,900 tonnes in the first 29 days of the previous MY).

As Ukrinform reported, in the 2022/2023 MY (from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023), Ukraine exported almost 49 million tonnes of grains and legumes.
