More than 30,000 Ukrainians involved in Army of Reconstruction project

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Employment Service on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to the available data, as of June 19, 2023, a total of 30,121Ukrainians from 18 regions were involved in socially useful works. In particular, 5,434 people were assigned to relevant jobs in the Poltava region, 5,151 – in the Kharkiv region, 3,563 – in the Donetsk region, 3,333 – in the Kyiv region, and 3,234 – in the Chernihiv region.

A reminder that the Army of Reconstruction project was launched by the Ukrainian government last autumn to involve people who had lost jobs in the country’s reconstruction through socially useful works. Salary payments for such jobs cannot be lower than the minimum wages (UAH 6,700).
