Restoration Agency, Chamber of Commerce to develop infrastructure projects

The State Agency for Restoration and Development of Infrastructure and the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry signed a memorandum of cooperation on the development and implementation of infrastructure projects.

Head of the Restoration Agency Mustafa Nayyem made a relevant statement, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Agency's post on Facebook.

"The interaction with business is of fundamental importance for the successful restoration of Ukraine. We are open to cooperation and constructive dialogue with representatives of the domestic and international business environment. The private sector is a full-fledged partner of the state and is integrated into the implementation of projects as a contractor and as an investor," he said.

Nayyem clarified that the document envisages strengthening cooperation with the private sector, involving business in the implementation of reconstruction projects, as well as finding investors and resources for reconstruction through support and partnership with international organizations and financial institutions.

In addition, the memorandum provides for mutual support in the adoption of the latest technologies and innovations in the process of restoring Ukraine's infrastructure.

As reported, the Restoration Agency and the AECOM American engineering company signed a memorandum of cooperation on the effective restoration of Ukrainian infrastructure.
